Our family just participated in this little project. For family home evening, we put together a package for a soldier and shipped it off, full of toiletries, sports magazines, treats, music, and holiday doodads, along with the kids' Top 10 Things We're Grateful For list ("my yellow princess shoes," "that we can close our front door so we don't get cold," "our grandmas and grandpas," "vegetables, 'cause they keep us helpty").
P.S. When I was at the post office yesterday (for like 3 hours, I swear), I got my holiday stamps, the cute knitted ones. I still like the Madonna ones, and even the Celebrate stamps would be cute for holiday cards.
But seriously, on a non-holiday stamp note, who chooses the designs? While we've got the nice flowers or cool super hero stamps, someone came up with this.
